I’d love to do another film with Vijay: Priyanka

Former beauty queen and top Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has said that she would love to work with Vijay again.  The leggy lass debuted as an actress opposite Vijay in the Majith-directed Thamizhan a few years back.  The film, unfortunately, didn’t do well and released at a time when Vijay wasn’t having the best of times at the box-office.  After the film, Priyanka wasn’t offered any more Tamil films but went on to become a top star in Bollywood.

Priyanka, who is one of the leading actresses who endorse a variety of commercial products, was in Chennai recently to watch the Champions’ League T20 cricket matches held at the Chepauk Stadium in the city over the last weekend.  After the cricket matches were over, the actress found some time to interact with press-persons.

“I’d always remember the fact that it was Kollywood which first gave me the confidence to act and made me an actress.  I also remember the good times I spent with Vijay, who ismy first on-screen hero.  No doubt, I’d love to work with him again if I’m offered a roleopposite him and if the script is good.

“I love the acting styles of many Tamil heroes.  Tamil films have undergone tremendous changes in the recent past; some of the films which release over the last couple of years in Tamil were simply amazing and brilliant.  Who wouldn’t love to be part of the Tamil film industry which has never shown any dearth of talent?” concluded Priyanka Chopra.
