Bharath returns to romance

After a numerous action flicks like ‘Pazhani’, ‘Aarumugam’ and ‘Thiruthani’, Bharath is all set to play a romantic hero in his upcoming film ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’. “It’s a colourful and youthful film. My character in ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ was liked by a lot of people. So when I thought of doing another romantic film, I heard this script from ‘Ninaithalae Inikum’ director GNR Kumaravelan,” said Bharath.

Rima Kallingal makes her Tamil debut with ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’. “The Tamil audiences have appreciated and welcomed many heroines from Kerala earlier. Hope they will continue and welcome me with warmth and love,” says the actress.

Sampath plays Bharath’s father. Together with Bharath, Santhanam takes care of the comedy track. Dr V Ramadoss’ Ram Pictures is producing the movie and the story and dialogues are penned by S Ramakrishnan. Apart from scoring the music for the film, Vijay Antony has also sung a melody number Oh my angel.

He said, “I’m popularly known for singing fast numbers but in this movie I’ve sung and scored quite a few melodies.” Director Kumaravelan said Yuvan Yuvathi is a romantic cum comedy flick that will surely entertain the audience. “A guy plans to go to America but falls in love. What happens to his dream and how he encounters various problems is the story,” said Kumaravelan. The audio of the film will be released shortly.
