A designer by profession and an artist by being, Nida Mahmood has been gaining recognition and popularity in the world of Fashion. Her rise has been tremendous. 
She started with a diploma in Fashion Design from National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFT), where she won the award for The Most Creative Collection at her graduating show. Further, she worked with many stalwarts in the industry. 
Hemant Trivedi, Manish Malhotra, Aki Narula at Sheetal Design Studio are just some of the big names she has worked with. This experience has enriched her further as an artist. 
Her collections have been tremendously appreciated at various fashion shows and events. However, she doesn’t just limit herself to designing. She’s also a painter, columnist, stylist and a graphic artist. 
She has also made a mark for herself in the world of art. An art piece of hers was selected to be part of a collection as a tribute to MF Hussain. This collection was turned into a Coffee Table Book called Hussain at 94 which featured stalwarts like Anjolie Ela Menon, Subodh Gupta etc.
