Rajnikanth calls up Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone was most disappointed when Raana didn’t kick start and Superstar Rajnikanthwas put to bed rest after his months long illness. He had to go to Singapore to avail treatment and he is now back in his hut. As soon as he returned from Singapore, he is now taking complete rest atMount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

Though the doctors have advised him to take bed rest and do nothing for the next few months,Rajnikanth has been busy talking about Raana and what to do for the film. He has had conversations with the director of the film K.S Ravikumar over phone about the film. We are also aware of his calling Vairamuthu and talking to him in length about Raana.

Now, he has called Deepika Padukone and reassured her that the shoot would begin in the month of September. The actress is elated over the call from Rajnikanth. She also told Rajnikanth that she would cooperate the maximum for the film. So, the good news for the fans is that Raana will begin in September, the film produced by Eros International and Ocher Studios.
